There is success for the Muslims in invoking to Allah's good names and obeying Him. The cure for the Evil-Eye is also one of them. If Allah's name is invoked whole-heartedly and the job told by Him is performed heart and soul, every worry will be removed by the grace of Allah. The article on the cure of Evil-Eye was incomplete for several weeks. It will be completed by Allah's will, today. Lo, study a few cures for the Evil-Eye.
Refuge With Allah
I seek refuge with Allah. Seeking refuge with Allah through His mighty words is the most important cure for the Evil-Eye. A few refugic supplications have already been mentioned. Today, more supplications are going to be stated. Keep it in mind that many supplications for seeking refuge have been mentioned in the Hadiths.

"I seek refuge with Allah through His words from the wickedness of all the creatures." (Al-Muslim)

This supplication should be recited thrice in the mornings and evenings.

"I seek refuge with Allah through His words of which no pious or wicked can escape from the wickedness of any thing that He created and spread; and from the wickedness of the things that came down from the sky and descend it; and from the wickedness of the things that spread over the earth and are generated from it, and from the wicked of the subversions of the day and the night; and from the wickedness of those who come at night save those who come with goodness of the All-Merciful." (Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P:133)

There is a tale written in Musnad-e-Ahmad almost similar to this supplication. One night, the Satans descended from the mountains and valleys and attacked the Holy Prophet . They wanted to trouble him with the help of the flames of fire. All of a sudden, Hazrat Jibrail came down and taught him this supplication. He recited this supplication. All the Satans ran away and their fire was extinguished.

After noting down these refugic supplications, Allama Ibn-e-Qayyim writes.

Only those know the benefits of these supplications who have tried it. He also knows how greatly we need these supplications.

These supplications protect against the Evil-Eye and thus the reciter remains procured from Evil-Eye. If the Evil-Eye has already worked, they end up its efficacy. The efficacy of these supplications increases due to the power of Emaan, strength of the heart and Tawakkul of the reciter because these supplications are like the ammunition which becomes as effective as skilled, powerful and mighty the person is who operates it. (Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P:135)

So, make these supplications your routine with full certainty and attention.

Incantations of Hazrat Jibrail

(1) It is reported in Al-Muslim:

Hazrat Jibrail came to the Holy Prophet and said, "O Muhammad ( ) , Are you feeling pain?" He said, "Yes." At this, Hazrat Jibrail recited the following supplication.

"I blow incantations with the name of Allah against every thing that troubles and the wickedness of every eye or the eye of the envier. May Allah cure you! I blow incantations over you with the name of Allah."

(2) It is reported in Al-Muslim:

Hazrat Ayesha says that whenever the Holy Prophet fell ill, Hazrat Jibrail would blow incantations over him with the help of the following supplication?

"I seek help with the name of Allah. He will better you and cure you of every disease and (will cure you) of the envy of every envier and the evil-eye of everyone who casts evil-eye."

Sobhan Allah! This is the supplication of Hazrat Jibrail with which he would remove evil-effects of evil-eye. With the help of these traditions, Allama Nov-vi has proved that there is no evil in blowing incantations.

A Mighty Cure For the Evil-Eye

It is written in Zaad-ul-Ma'ad:

Hazrat Abu Ubaidulah(RA) was on Hajj or Jihad journey riding a very nice camel. One of his journey companions was a man who used to cast evil-eye. Anything upon which he would cast evil-eye went out of order or ended up. The companions said to the "Sheikh" to protect his camel from the evil-eye of that person. The Sheikh said, "He can cause no harm to my camel." When the evil-eyer knew this, he remained in search of a chance as to when the Sheikh went away his camel. As soon as he got the chance, he cast evil-eye at the camel and it fell down. When the Sheikh came to know, he searched him out and recited the following supplication.

No sooner did the Sheikh recite this supplication than the eyes of the evil-eyer came out, the camel was cured and stood up. (Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 138 V-IV)

A Quranic Cure For the Evil-Eye

Recite the last two verses of the Surah Al-Qalam for seven times at the pure water and blow incantations each time. The patient should drink this water in nine draughts and before taking every draught he must recite . Then he should put the rest of water in a pail or tub, pour some more water into it and run it at the entire body. Even the strictest evil-eye will be cured. This incantations can be blown over animals even. The people who mostly fall prey to evil-eye, should recite these verses for seven times daily and blow incantations over their bodies.

A Masnoon Supplication For Removing Evil-Eye

It is written in Hisn-e-Haseen:

The man who is affected by evil-eye, should remove it with the following saying of the Holy Prophet:

With the name of Allah! O Allah remove the hotness and coldness and trouble and pain of this evil-eye.

Then he should say:

"Stand up with Allah's order." (Hisn-e-Haseen P:231)

The Supplication To Cure the Evil-Eye Cast at the Animal

It is written in Hisn-e-Haseen:

If an animal is under the spell of evil-eye, recite the following supplication four times in the right nostril and thrice in the left nostril and blow over it.

"No fear, remove the trouble and the disease, O the Lord of the people. Cure it. You are the only Curer. No one save You can remove any trouble and pain." (Hisn-e-Haseen P:213)

Protectin From One's Own Eye

This traditions is reported in Munsad-e-Ahmad and other books of Traditions:

"Anyone of you who sees his brother, his own self or anything from his property that seems him good, should pray for his blessings because effect of evil-eye is a fact. (Musnad-e-Ahmad, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad)

It becomes clear that evil-eye does not affect others or one's own self due to the blessings of supplications.

Allama Tazry Writes:

"When you see anything of your own or the members of your family or any good thing of others or any good state, you should say

"O Allah, bless it with even more blessings." (Hisn-e-Haseen P:220)

The man who fears of his own evil-eye at himself or at others, he should remove the wickedness of evil-eye through these words.

"O Allah, bless it with blessings."

When Aamir bin Rabia (RA) cast his evil-eye at Hazrat Sahl bin Hanif (RA), the Holy Prophet said: Why did you not pray for his blessings? (Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P:135 V:IV)

Hence the man who is attracted by his nails, or by his face while looking into the mirror or some of his trait or habit appeals him, should at once pray for blessings. In the same way, he should do the same when he finds the good traits in his children or other people. .....

If he inserts the following words also to make his supplication more powerful, it will be very beneficial:

It is said about Hazrat Urwa (RA) that when he looked at an attractive object or went to the gardens, he would say:

A Special Cure For The Evil-Eye

A special and the most effective cure for the Evil-Eye is the one that is prescribed by the Holy Prophet that the evil-eyer should take a bath and throw the water of his bathing at the person upon whom he cast his eye. Allama Ibn-e-Qayyim has written in detail about the benefits of this cure. He has also said that the man who suspects it, does not get benefit from it. (Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P:136, V-IV)

Its another situation can also be that he evil-eyer should observe ablution and should throw the water poured from ablution at the person who is affected by his evil-eye.

Divine Ruqiyyah

Allama Ibn-e-Qayyim has written an authentic supplication for the cure of the evil-eye and has called it i.e. the incantations taught by Allah.

Hazrat Abu Darda (RA) says that the Holy Prophet said: Any one among you who is in trouble or his brother is in trouble, should recite the following supplication:

"O our Lord Who is in the sky, Your name is sacred, Your order is in the sky and the earth. O Allah descend Your blessings upon the earth as they are in the sky. Forgive us for our sins and mistakes. Your the Lord of the pious people. Shower Your blessings and cure upon us at this trouble.

Therefore, the disease will be cured as soon as you recite this supplication by the will of Allah. (Abu Dawood)

It is written in Kamaalaat-e-Azizy:

This sentence has great efficacy to remove the effect of evil-eye and magic; and absolves the sins of the reader. It is said with reference to a Hadith that is one of the treasures of Paradise.

Another Quranic Cure For the Evil-Eye

Recite the following verses and blow incantations over the person who is affected by the Evil-Eye, it will be removed.

Death in Jihad does not come before time. On the other hand, the Polytheists of Jammu have come upon Satanism to the core. "Muslim Killing Disruptions" in Punch, Doda and Kishtwara are going on. How strange country is India! "Muslim Killing Disruptions" occur there under the patronage of the government whereas no "Hindu Killing" disruption has ever occurred in Pakistan. All the readers of the Alqalam are requested to keep an eye at the situation in Kashmir and give a proof of "Islamic Awareness" and "Islamic Brotherhood" and pray for the Muslims and Jihad Movement there. Particularly, they should pray for the oppressed Muslims of Punch, Kishtwara and Doda because they are under very oppressive oppressions whereas the negligent readers of our country are involved in the dirty game of politics. They do not recall their oppressed Muslim brothers. O Allah, bless the Pakistanis with pious Muslim rulers!
