May Allah raise the degree of status of Hazrat Abul-Fazal Muhammad bin Hasan Alkhatli ! He was a great scholar of Tafseer and Tradition and a great saint. He used to say.

"This world is for one day and we are fasting on this day."

It means that the life in this world is short and we are like a fast observer that we do not indulge in it much but are bound. He used to say: When Allah intends to bless someone with the crown of sanctity and government, He grants him with the power to beg pardon of Allah then He sends him to serve any of His friend so that that service may become the cause of his nobility."

It means there are two ways of becoming Allah's saint: Begging pardon and company and service of Allah's saints.

Let us stop this description here for a while. Tonight, one of Hazrat Abul-Fazal Muhammad bin Hasan's point benefited me much. It so happened that our newly elected president has visited America. I was grieved and sorrowful at his statements that he issued during this visit. Asif Zardary is a very great gentleman. Every body knows it. In order to please the Americans, he talked frankly i.e. called Kashmiri Mujahideen terrorists, resolved to end up Jihad culture from this country and what not. I have read an incident of an Abbasid Caliph. Once his maid-servant sat down to wash utensils that all of a sudden, she began to talk loudly. She was washing utensils as well as flying an aeroplane. "I would do such and such." Someone told the Abbasid Caliph about the incident. The Caliph was very wise. He ordered to remove her from the place where she was sitting and washing utensils and to dig the earth from there. The court servants did the same. When that place was dug up, a great treasure was discovered from there. The Caliph said, "I had perceived that she was sitting at a treasure and its intoxication was reaching her mind." Reading Mr. Zardary's statements, it occurs to the mind that there is some treasure hidden under the President House that anyone who sits there, begins to talk loudly. For nearly seven or eight years, President Parvez bored the nation with his loud talk and at last went away steeped in disgraces and failures. Now, Mr. Zardary has pronounced to end up the population of his country. Allah knows, in how many rupees has he purchased the country. Let it go. There was grief and misery due to his statements that I happened to visit Sheikh Abul-Fazal all of a sudden and he satisfied me with one point. Sobhan Allah! This is a strange excellence of Allah's slaves that they benefit the people in their lives and after their deaths, their inspiration continue and keep benefiting the people. This Hazrat Sheikh Abul-Fazal is not the saint of this time but he is the Spiritual Guide of Hazrat Abul-Hasan Ali bin Usmaan Hajvery. O, yes, Hazrat Sheikh Hajvery whom the Lahorites call "Daata Ganj Bakhsh." It means, he left this world approx one thousand years ago. I was thinking after how many prayers and troubles, we got freedom from Parvez Musharrif. People congratulated one another, distributed sweet meats and offered devotional prayers. But what happened? Mr. Zardary has taken his chair. Parvez Musharrif used to threat like Generals whereas Zardary's tone is that of the feudal lords. Then where should the religious people of Pakistan go? Thinking this, I felt suffocation in the heart that I found an incident in my Shaikh Hazrat Mufti Wali Hasan's book . This belief-provoking book of Mufti Wali Hasan Tonaky has been published by "IDARA ISLAMYAT Lahore" and is easily available. The readers of the Al-Qalam are requested to study this book. It will benefit them greatly by the grace of Allah. The Hazrat has written this incident with reference to "Kashf-ul-Mahjoob." When I searched this incident in the Kashf-ul-Mahjoob, I found even more details. Hazrat Hajvery says that when the time of Hazrat Sheikh Muhammad bin Hasan's death came, he was placing his head in my lap and I was deeply sorrowful at the thought of separation from him. He said to me:

"My son, I tell you a point with regard to belief. If you correct yourself according to it, you will be free of sorrows and miseries. Know well! All the good and bad circumstances are from Allah. So you should neither haggle over any of His action nor be sorrowful."

Besides this, he did not give any detailed advice and passed away.

Allah-o-Akbar! All is done from Allah. Who are we to object to any of His activity as why did this happen? Why did such not happen? Allah is All-Wise and there is some philosophy in every of His command. Reading Hazrat Sheikh's will, I began to recall many things. First of all, I recalled the following verse of the Noble Quran:

"And (O Prophet) be patient. Your patience is bestowed by none but Allah, and do not grieve over them, and do not be in distress for what they devise. Surely Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are good in their deeds."
Hazrat Lahori writes:

"Observe patience at their torturing. Your patience will be for Allah's sake and do not be distressed due to their machinations and pretensions. Allah always sides with His pious and righteous slaves." (Hazrat Lahori)

According to a report of Mustadrik Haakim, these verses were revealed on the eve of the Ghazwa-e-Uhud. Allah-o-Akbar! The Ghazwa-e-Uhad when the entire Islamic scenario was palpitating in blood. The Holy Prophet was injured and the blood was continuously trickling. The dead-bodies of seventy Sahaaba (RA) were lying in a state that the enemy had mutilated them. Hundreds of Muslims were sobbing with injuries. Dar-us-Salam was in danger. The Polytheist army after victory was raising slogans and the command was coming from the sky: O Prophet, do not grieve. Allah is with you. If there had been a deviated person there, he would have said, "Allah is with us. So, we are sobbing with injuries." May Allah pardon! But the Holy Prophet was strong at heart at Allah's command. His Sahaaba (RA) also did not let the dust of the situation prevail upon them. After a while, this army of the injured soldiers set forth to "Hamr-a-ul-Asad" raising slogans of Allah-o-Akbar. The sky went into ecstasy and the loving verses began to come down from upon the High-Throne and the Pagan army went back without attacking Madina.

Is the situation more intense than that day that we may begin to be disappointed? Reading Hazrat Sheikh's will, these verses come to the mind. Secondly, every thing in the past that seemed wicked, Allah brought good from that. How great wickedness was Parvez Musharrif's regime? But Jihad progressed much in that age of Dajjaal and extended to many corners of the world. How great painful was American attack at Afghanistan but many triumphs came out from the womb of that grief and America was entangled in Iraq. These days, the usury economy of America is going to dash to the gound with its roofs and walls. Allah has placed great strength in Emaan, piety and Jihad. The believers who did not yield to Parvez Musharrif, will, by the grace of Allah, not yield to Zardary's reign even. The arrow of Jihad has come out of the bow. It does not depend upon personalities. If all the commanders are killed in one day, even then Jihad will come forward with even greater splendour the very next day provided the Mujahideen submit their Jihad to Sharia and do not let Jihad become disruption. It is no Jihad to fight ones own brothers deviating the methods of Sharia. Allah be thanked, thirty years are going to pass till the inception of the new era of Jihad. USSR exerted full energy to wipe out Jihad but she herself was wiped out from the map of the world. Russia tried much to wipe out Jihad but now she is thinking seriously of reconciling with Mujahideen. America exerted all force but Jihad kept spreading and America kept falling. Israil has come into being only to wipe out Jihad and the Muslims. But she has not been able to get even her single captive with the Mujahideen released. India made her best efforts but these days Delhi and Jae Pur are under the thunder of explosions like Sri Nagar and India could not get peace in Kabul. NATO unity used full energy but the mountains of Afghanistan placed new Taalibaan before them. There was commentary of the Britain General in the BBC news, "We can never score full victory over Afghanistan."

Allah-o-Akbar! No doubt, the situation is deteriorated apparently but we have no ground to complain to Allah. He is leading the circumstances to some good out of His Special Technique. The lucky Muslims are gaining Shahaadat. The sinners are being absolved due to the blessings of Jihad. The Muslims are being pruned. Awareness is being created in the unmindful sect and the shallowness of Kufr is being exposed.

O Allah, we are pleased with Your command. We are happy and believe You. Bless us with Your good pleasure and bless our end wiht Emaan and accepted martyrdom!
