Allah Almighty produced "Water" and then produced my things from water. Do you ever ponder wherever there is mention of Paradise, there is also the mention of water that canals flow in the Paradise. Actually water is a very great blessing. These days, people get very little water due to the atrocities of the rulers. The motor does not run when power fails. Water

When water ends up, life becomes very hard. Imaam Raazi has written very interesting thing that there are innumerable blessings and bounties in the Paradise. But at most of the places, there is only the mention of water. The reason is that water is the symbol of life and "Fire" that of ruination. The dwellers of Paradise will be blessed with a very high and mighty life. That is why; there is the mention of canals and rivers along with the Paradise i.e. there will be life everywhere in Paradise because when there will be canals and rivers, there will also be trees there. When there are trees, there will be fruits and flowers also. There is always the mention of fire along with hell i.e. there is ruination and devastation everywhere; the ruination that will cause torment but will not cause death. Whichever is given there to drink, will be hot like fire; drinking which all the intestines will come out. O Allah! We seek Thy refuge!  O Allah! Protect us against fire!

Allah Almighty has again and again mentioned the water, the canals and springs of Paradise in the Noble Quran. Every Paradiser will be blessed with four canals at least; the canals of milk, honey, wine, and water. Hazrat Shah Abdul-Qaadir writers that every Paradiser shall be given four canals at least and some of them will be given more also. Here, one thing should be kept in mind that in Arabic means "River." Therefore, we should not take small streams of Pakistan for "canals" that have been carrying the mud and filth of the entire world. Secondly, the rivers of Paradise will not be like those of this world. They will be very grand and dignified rivers. Allah has clarified this point in simple language in the Noble Quran. The words "River and Canal" are comprehensible to everyone. That is why; it has been said that there will be rivers of milk, whose taste will not spoil. There will be rivers of crystal clear honey. There will be rivers of water which will never be contaminated. There will be rivers of very sweat delicious wine. But no one has seen the blessings of the Paradise. So the dunce wonder, "How will there be the rivers of milk and honey?" Did anyone know a century ago what type of mobile phone and Internet was? When it is difficult to tell and comprehend the minor things of this world, Paradise is very high, elevated, very far away and at the peak of progress. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to believe that all these things will be found there. But what will be their shape and sequence, will become clear when we enter it by the grace of Allah. It is reported by Hazrat Anas (RA) in the Tafseer Ibn-e-Katheer, "Perhaps you may guess that the rivers of Paradise have been made after digging the soil. Not so at all. By Allah, they flow upon the surface of the earth. Their walls are made of the domes of jewels and their soil is made of musk. People have made so much in this small world. But Paradise is a very great place. Let it go, we were talking of water.

We should do a few things with regard to water:

1. Water is a great blessing of Allah. The skies were made out of its vapours and the earth was made out of its essence. Most of the living things have been created with it. We should value this blessing of Allah heart and soul.

2. We should not waste water. We must not use water extra than our needs and ablution.

3. We should provide drinking water to the maximum people including men, animals and birds.

4. We should follow the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) while drinking and using water.

5. We should make arrangements of water for others also if we have power.

6. We should not forbid anyone to take water except in case of dire emergency.

This is the six point syllabus of water. If we act upon it, we should be successful and glorious in both the worlds by the grace of Allah.

The enemies of humanity have been spoiling water regularly. The lusty greedy people like animals have contaminated water after installing factories. Some one may ask these oppressors what is the use of the progress that deprives man of the blessing of pure water. The Atomic counties tried atomic explosions in the Sea which spread poison in the Sea and the fish died. Moreover, these people throw away their atomic waste in the sea and pollute the water and the atmosphere. Is there anyone who may think whether man needs what is being made in the world or the fresh air and the pure water. There are ever new kinds of utensils, furinture, automobiles and machines. Are all these the human needs? The lucrative lustful people have ruined the entire humanity only to enhance their bank balance. May Allah grant the Muslims with the power to fight in the way of Allah! The system of the world will correct if the Muslims wage Jihad. Allah has made Jannat-ul-Firdous the centre of water. All this water is supplied to the entire Paradise from there. Many Hadiths prove that numerous rivers also come from the Paradise. It is reported by Abu Huraira in Al-Bukhari that the holy Prophet (PBUH) said:

"Paradise has, no doubt, one hundred stages which Allah has prepared for those who fight in the way of Allah. There is a distance of the sky and the earth between each of two stages. Therefore, whenever you demand Allah, you should demand "Jannat-ul-Firdous," because that is the highest and most elevated stage of Paradise. There is Allah's throne above it and all the rivers flow from their." (Al-Bukhari)

He (PBUH)  says:

"These four rivers of the world i.e. Seehoon, Jeehoon, Nile and Eupherates have come from Paradise."

The Mujahideen hold grand grace. Allah has blessed the Mujahideen with Jannat-ul-Firdous whom Allah has called the center of Paradise and water. The Shuhada enjoy in the Jannat-ul-Firdous. Normally, Mujahideen have a very deep relation with "water." It is said that the superior water is that which used to flow from the finger tips of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) . Who were blessed with this water? Certainly the Mujahideen who had gone out with him for Jihad and were in intense misery due to thirst. Then the second best water is "Zam Zam." This is one of Allah's great blessings. If I begin to write the excellences and qualities of Zam Zam, today's column will replete and they will not complete. Actually, the today's machine age has weakened belief of the Muslims. They do not get benefit from the Noble Quran and Sunnah. When Sahaaba(RA) heard of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)  that every that intention is fulfilled with which Zam Zam is taken and that it was water of auspiciousness, there was cure in it, they believed and reaped full benefits. The famous Sahaabi Hazrat Abuzar (RA) stayed for forty days in Ka'ba and kept taking Zam Zam without eating any other thing. He (RA) says, "I did not feel any appetite rather I grew fat. Allah-o-Akbar! These days, we believe that there is some efficacy in Disprin and Panadol Tablet but not in Zam Zam. Allama Ibn-e-Qayyim has written in Zaad-ul-Maad that he treated many of his diseases with Zam Zam and he was cured. Zam Zam is near Ka'ba. The Muslims liberated Makkah, Ka'ba and Zam Zam through Jihad otherwise there was the rule of the Polytheists there. The gist is that the Mujahideen have a great role in liberating Zam Zam. In the Ghazwa-e-Badr, Allah's assistance descended upon the Muslims in the shape of "water." The Noble Quran tells us it in detail. The armies of Sahaaba(RA) waded upon water and reached the enemy. The water did not drown them. "Among the blessings on the Day of Juedgement, Allah will ask His slaves if We did not bless you with physical health and satiated you with cold water," (Tirmizi)
Cold water is, not doubt, a great blessing of Allah and when it is sweet; Sobhan Allah! It is narrated in Al-Bukhari that the Holy Prophet (PBUH)  would mix honey in the cold water and drink it. (Zad-ul-Maad P:108,V-IV) He (PBUH)  forbade to waste water. So much so, he forbade to waste water in ablution even. (Musnad-e-Ahmad)

One of the righteous deeds to which he (PBUH) persuaded is to supply drinking water to others. It was the result of his persuasion that Hazrat Usman (RA) purchased the well "Bai'r Roma" in Madina and devoted it to the Muslims. Allama Manzari has written a strange incident about the advantages of supplying drinking water. The substance is that there appeared abscesses on Hazrat Sheikh Hakim Abdullah's face. He applied different treatments but he was not cured. He requested Sheikh Abu Usman. The said Sheikh supplicated in the Friday prayers and the people said Amin! The next Friday, a woman threw a piece of paper at him and went away. It was written on the paper, "I supplicated much for Sheikh Hakim after the last Friday, I was blessed with the sight of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) who ordered me to tell Hakim Abu Abdullah to provide drinking water to the people much." When this dream reached Hakim, he made arrangements for cold drinking water outside his house. His disease vanished within a week. All the spots and abscesses on the face ended up and the face became much more brighter. (At-Targheeb-W-Tarheeb P:43, V-II)

In the same way, a man came to Hazrat Abdullah bin Mubarik. He had a sore at his knee which bled all the time. It was not cured in spite of best treatments. Hazrat Ibe-n-Mubarik advised him to dig a well at a place where people needed water. He did so and he was cured. These two incidents came to the view suddenly. The real point is that supplying the drinking water is a great virtue. A Hadith says that if a man digs a well; when a living being drinks water at it, the digger will get its reward till the Day of Judgement, regardless of the fact who drinks water there, a man, a giant, an animal or a bird. (Ibn-e-Khazima)

The incident of that sinful woman is known to all that she provided drinking water to a thirsty dog and was absolved. There are many other Hadiths also on this topic. The sum total is that water is Allah's great blessing. Allah had decorated and populated Paradise with water. We should value this blessing. We should not waste it, nor contaminate and dirty it. We should thank Allah when we use it and try to provide in to others. We should cover the drinking water at night because disease falls at the open water. All of us should beg Jannat-ul-Firdous and search for the special spring, "Tasneam" that will be provided to the near and dear ones. This spring flows in the high atmosphere of paradise. "Allah-o-Akbar!

"INTERESTING"

There was a poet before the partition of the subcontinent. Once he had a cake of soap in his hand and was taking a bath that a poem was composed.

In the same way, when power supply in our earea failed and we ran short of water, this article began to strike me. Before writing the article, I drank Zam Zam, supplicated to Allah for its acceptance and its utility. While writing, I kept drinking honey mixed cold water in order to act upon the Sunnah. If your mouth waters reading this point, no matter because the title of today's article is "WATER."
