May Allah inflict a crushing defeat on the "Allied Forces" that attack this Ummah! There is all guidance for us till the doomsday in the twenty-three years period of the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). These days, the Allied Forces are attacking the Muslim Ummah. There is Surah Ahzaab in the Noble Quran. "Ahzaab" means armies. In that age, the Allied Forces had attacked Madina. The Jews, the Polytheists and some hirelings included those Allied Forces. The real motive force of that attack was the Jewish tribe Banu Nazir whereas the polytheists of Makkah were leading them. The motive force of the present day Allied Forces is also the Jews whereas the polytheists of America who believe in trinity are leading them. The Ghatfaan tribe joined that army in lust for dates whereas hireling negroes were also with them. Numerous immodest countries are also a part of the Allies Forces for the sake of dollars and a few barrels of oil. The Allies who attacked Madina had also only one motto i.e. to extirepate Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions (RA). The present day Allies are also raising this same kind of slogan. Those Allies had to get the support of arrows due to the three miles long ditch that the Muslims had dug around Madina after a great labour whereas the present day Jews have to take side of bombing out of their cowardice. The Muslims were surrounded from all sides in that battle. Same is the case with the Mujahideen in this battle.

Allah says in the Noble Quran that the time was very critical for the Muslims. They saw death before them with their naked eyes and people were developing misgivings about Allah. Allah-o-Akbar! Estimate please the grimness of the trial whom Allah Himself is calling critical. The coming generations have to claim of love whereas the companions of that age had to undergo "practical trials."

After the demise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), a young man said to Hazrat Huzaifa (RA), "What kind of your situation was with the Holy Prophet (PBUH)? If I (PBUH) had been in that age, I would not have let him (PBUH) place his foot on the ground. We would carry him on our necks and would have fought in the forefront in the war in this way and would have done so and so." Hazrat Hufaifa (RA) said, "O nephew, would that you had seen us on nights in the Ghazwa-e-Khanduq!"

On one night, there was intense cold and pitch dark; so pitch dark that nothing was discernible. We were hungry and the gales were buffeting us. A big army of Abu Sufyan was confronting us and Jews of Banu Quraiza inside had come to open enmity. That night I had nothing with me to avoid cold. I had only one Shawl of my wife that I had worn till my knees and was lying prostrate on the ground due to cold, hunger and intensity of situation. I had never seen the cold and darkness that I discerned that night. The hissing of the wind was like the thunder of lightning and there was fear of attack of the Jews on our children from inside. In this situation, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) called me out; "O Hazaifa, get up and reconnoitre the situation." I was clinging to the ground but the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was sending me to the enemy forces. I got up. He (PBUH) prayed for me. As soon as he (PBUH) prayed, all cold, hunger and fear vanished and I started off. When I was returning, it seemed that I was walking in a hot saloon.

This story is very long and interesting. We have narrated it briefly. Estimate please how the situation was those days! The situation in Afghanistan was also very strange and intense at the time of American and Allied attack. Many Arab Mujahid princes were shedding tears of blood with their veiled modest pious wives and daughters and advising the Afghan brothers not to let them go in the grip of the Pagans. At that time, martyrdom was the sweetest and easiest way for them. Allah be thanked, those who sacrificed, were lucky. Now they will be enjoying themselves in the Paradise. But woe is to those who showed immodesty, who were sold for a few dollars, who killed and arrested their own Muslim brothers and those who became a part of the filthy Allied forces under the pretext of avoiding bombing! If they had died before committing such a heinous sin, they would not have exercised so big oppression! But they are still exercising and are a part of the crusaders.

May Allah grant them with the power of begging Pardon and also to recite and comprehend the Surah Ahzaab! If pardoning is not ordained to them, Allah may protect the Ummah of their wickedness!

There are many lessons for the Muslims in the Ghazwa-e-Ahzaab whose another name is Ghazwa-e-Khanduq. We should also get benefit from the supplications that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) begged and also taught the Muslims during the Ghazwa-e-Azhaab.

Great Glad Tidings

"The Allied Forces" besieged Madina for almost twenty-four to twenty-five days. When the Muslims stood glorious and successful in the trial and stood firm in Jihad in the way of Allah, Allah revealed His assistance from the high skies. The wind that blows from the West is called "Saba" in Arabic. It is called "Purwa" in Urdu. This wind is a message of special assistance of Allah to the Ummah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Allah sent assistance in three shapes on the eve of the Ghazwa-e-Ahzaab.

1. "Saba" i.e. Western wind, 2. One Thousand angels, 3. Awe

The angels did not fight but they frightened the Pagans much. These angels were riding the horses. They had turbans on their heads and they were armed. All these points are found in authentic Tafseer Books. The angels would raise slogans of "Takbeer" around the enemy soldiers and frightened the Pagans whereas "Saba" came in the shape of gale and uprooted the Allied Forces. On the other hand, awe gripped the hearts of the Jews. They remained confined to the inside of Madina when there was no ditch on their way. But they were under the spell of "awe."

Generally, angels are invisible. Hazrat Huzaifa (RA) reports in "Ruh-ul-Maani" that he saw twenty angels who were riding their horses. They greeted the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and conveyed the glad tidings of conquest. On the other hand, Hazrat Jibrail in the shape of "Dahya Kalby (RA)" came to inform of the next battle. A few of the holy wives of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Sahaaba (RA) also saw him. The gist is that the Allied forces ran crying "Save! Save!" It was a very strange scene. The Noble Quran has drawn a short sketch. At that moment, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said.

"Now we will fight them and they will not be able to fight us."

It means, they will not have the power to attack. Now the Muslims will attack them. (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Al-Muslim.) It happened so. The situation changed after it. The Muslims attacked the Jews and conquered all their lands. The Muslims occupied the lands of Banu Quraiza and Kbyber. Then the Muslims conquered Makkah and entered it triumphantly. Then this chain of conquests spread over many continents.

Now the situation is also similar to that of the "Ghazwa-e-Ahzaab." The Allied forces of the Pagans and the Polytheists are invading the Muslims. The true believers are facing them dauntlessly as far as their powers allow. The great Sahaabi Hazat Saaed Bin Maaz (RA) was also injured in the Ghazwa-e-Ahzaab and after a few days, he was martyred. Seventy thousand angels participated in his funeral prayers and Allah's throne shook or swayed at his martyrdom. Even the strong person like Hazrat Umar(RA) could not control himself. Hazrat Ayesha (RA) says, "I could distinguish between the weeping sounds of my father and Hazrat Umar (RA)." These are the people whom Allah called "Ruhama o Banahum" (Show Mercy to Each other). Many great Muslims have been martyred in the Allied attacks these days. We miss them much and the eyes shed tears of blood. The passion of the Sahaaba (RA) on the eve of the Ghazwa-e-Ahzaab was Fedai passion. The Noble Quran itself calls them truthful in this regard. These days, the sons of Sahaaba(RA) are launching Fedai attacks at the Allied Forces. The situation is that battle was very intense rather killing. The situation in these days is also very grim. Now that moment is anxiously awaited when Allah's final assistance will descend. A wind from the West will blow and angels will descend from the sky. It is not a forecast but a supplication and yearning because Allah is the same; the Noble Quran is the same and Din is the same: If the Muslims have some weakness, we beg pardon of Allah and pray to Him for perseverance and progress. Allah knows, if these Allied forces, return unsuccessful, the direction of situation will certainly change and the gate of conquests will open to the Muslims by the grace of Allah. It is sufficient for today's sitting. In the next sitting, the supplications that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) taught the Sahaaba(RA) will be reported. Then we shall make these supplications our daily routine and demand Allah to bless us with assistance and conquest in the words of our Holy Lord Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
