May Allah bring our end in a state of Belief! Sometimes such a sin or mistake is made by man due to whose portent man is deprived of Belief. O Allah, be kind! An old Imaam Muhammad bin Abd-ur-Rahmaan Al-Habishi says: "There are four sins due to whose abundance, there is the fear of Belief being snatched at the time of death.

(i). Not offering thanks at the blessing of Islam.

(ii). Not nourishing any fear of the deprivation of Islam.

(iii). Oppressing the Muslims (iv). Disobeying the parents.

Let us offer thanks to Allah from the core of our hearts that He has made us Muslims and has blessed us with the Kalima Tayyiba. So we prayاَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ عَلیٰ نِعْمَۃِ الْاِسْلَامِ.

Or recite it thus both from the tongue and the heart. ’’سُبْحَانَ اللّٰہِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ ، وَاللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُعَلیٰ نِعْمَۃِ الْاِیْمَانِ ‘‘

Sometimes say thus also اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِی ھَدَانِیAll praise be to Allah who has guided me.

Sometimes do pronounce thus smiling in tears اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ عَلیٰ مَاھَدَانِی, Allah be thanked that He guided me.

Actually, Islam and Belief is the biggest blessing. So we should pay maximum thanks at this biggest blessing and should keep reviving this blessing again and again. There is a tradition, "Revive your Belief with .

In the same way, do recite آمَنْتُ بِاللّٰہِ وَرَسُوْلِہِ .or آمَنْتُ بِاللّٰہِ وَرُسُلِہ once in a day and once in a might. The gratitude of Belief is to regard it as the biggest blessing and consider it Allah's favour on you. Keep fearing all the time lest this blessing is snatched away from us. Normally, there is no bigger sin due to which man is deprived of Belief. But owing to the portent of those bigger sins, there is always the fear that man may take up infidelity and be deprived of the blessings of Islam. So, we should, first of all, learn which are the bigger sins. Then man should exert full energy to avoid those sins, and repent of all those that have already bin committed. The traditions call some sins "bigger sins." Applying some sins to those traditions, the leaders of the Ummah have called some others the bigger sins. Do study the names of a few bigger sins at random:

(i). Slaying a Muslim. (ii). Neglecting obligatory prayer. (iii). Disobeying parents (iv). Retreating from the battlefield. (v). Charming anyone. (vi). Usurping the wealth of the orphan (vii) Bearing false witness (viii). Taking interest on wealth. (ix). Slandering the pious women with adultery (x). Being disappointed of Allah's mercy. (xi). Growing fearless of Allah's grip (xii). Abusing ones own parents. (xiii). Having false oath (xiv). Backbiting someone. (xv). Not being careful of uncleanliness due to urination. (xvi). Throwing the leaves of the Holy Quran into filth. (xvii). Capturing a Muslim and handing him over to a Pagan who may kill him. (xix). Spying for the Infidels against the Muslims. (xx). Committing adultery and sodomy. (xxi). Stealing and robbery etc. etc.

This list is very long. Hazrat Umar and Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas  say, "No sin remains a bigger sin when there is repentance and no sin remains smaller one when there is persistence on it. It means that even the bigger sins are forgiven due to repentance of them from the core of heart. If man persists on smaller sins they become bigger sins. The actual thing is that man should be fearing of disobedience to Allah, Allah's grip and Allah's punishment and always be afraid that he may not be deprived of Belief. For this, it is obligatory man to keep watch at his heart and notice whether it is in a state of Belief or negligence. Man should recite the Kalima Tayyibah at once, pronounce his Belief, have a bath and get busy in remembering Allah or keep the company of the Believers lest death should befell him when the heart is devoid of Belief. These days, the biggest calamity is that the Muslims do not value Belief nor they have fear of losing this blessing. We regard the car, bangallow, job and wealth as a blessing. We regard health, vitality and apparent respect as a blessing. No doubt, all this is a blessing but the actual and the biggest blessing is that of Belief. If we are to score success, we will have to inculcate this point in our hearts that the biggest, the most precious and essential blessing is the bounty of Belief. The bigger sins are enemies to Belief. One of the bigger sin is disobedience to parents. It does not mean that every fair or foul order of the parents be obeyed. Obedience to them is essential in the fair tasks and disobedience to them is a sin. In the same way, torturing them, not fulfilling their needs when they demand at the time when the children have wealth, eating themselves to their fill but keeping them hungry, beating them if they abuse them, keeping their own wealth safe but eating their wealth, misappropriating in their trust all fall in the category of disobedience to Allah. It is written in 'Uyun-ul-Akbar that Hazrat Maalkik bin Dinar says, "Once I went to Bait Allah to perform Hajj. After the Hajj, I slept at night. Then awaking, I started my routines that the following voice echoed in my ears. Someone was crying, "Allah has Showered His favours upon the people of Mina, Muzdalfa and Arafaat. Allah forgave all those who performed Hajj. Umrah, Tawaaf, Sa'ee, Talbiah, Halaq, Qasar and Rami and has atoned everyone's vice but Allah is wrathful to a person named Abd-ur-Rahmaan Balkhi" He says, "Waking up in the morning, I inquired where are Balkhi Hajjaj. Going near them. I inquired who Abd-ur-Rahmaan bin Muhammad is and what his state is." The people said, "He is the man that the people pray through his agency in the days of famine. He is very holy and pious. He is the biggest worshipper of all, reciter of the Holy Quran the whole night, patron of the widows and the orphans, provider of horses and other carriages to the Mujaahideen for Jihaad, performer of Hajj of Bait Allah." Hazrat Maalik says, "Hearing all this I said to myself that the voice at night must be that of the Satan. Next year, I again went to perform Hajj. I thought whether that voice was from Allah or the Satan. I inquired the people about him and received that same answer. I intended to go and investigate myself. I set out after the Fajr prayer and reached the Balkhi camps of Abd-ur-Rahmaan. They pointed to a camp. It was a small trivial camp made of black hair. When I reached near the camp, I heard a weeping voice from inside. Entering the camp, I saw a young man who had tied his right hand with his neck by a chain and had given the end of the chain in the hands of a black slave. That slave was standing behind him. He was saying to his slave not to be negligent if he himself grew negligent. He should rub Abd-ur-Rahmaan's cheecks to the ground saying that it is reward of the person who disobeys Allah and his parents."

Hazrat Maalik says that he entered the camp and greeted him. The long and short of the tale is that he himself told me, "You are Maalik bin Dinar and you have come to ask me about the voice that is heard after the Hajj whether it is from Allah or the Satan. O Maalik, that voice is from Allah. I have been hearing it for twenty years on every Hajj. My tale is that I was a very rich person. I was addicted to drinking and sins. Once on the first night of Ramazaan, my father persuaded me to offer prayer very affectionately. I was drunk. I reproved him. He began to persuade me to fear Allah and to repent. I lifted my abominable hand and slapped on him due to which tears rolled down his cheeks. Then my father cursed for me that Allah might not forgive me nor I might be blessed with Kalima Tayyiba at the time of death nor He might get pleased with me on the Day of Judgement. When consciousness returned, my mother told me all the detail. Since then, I repented and broke the bottles of whine, forsake every luxury, freed all maid-servants, gave my soft clothes as alms and took up these coarse clothes. Now, I look after the orphans and the widows, feed the hungry and the destitute and perform Hajj every year. But this pronouncement is heard after the Hajj that all except I have been absolved." Maalik says, "Hearing this lale, I ordered him to go away me and not to burn me in your fire; the fire that you have lit at yourself with your own hands forever and ever." Saying this, I was about to depart that he began to weep bitterly saying, "O Maalik, you have been disappointing me of Allah's mercy." I said, "Is your father alive?. If he is alive, glad tidings to you but if he has died, woe to you. After the destruction, there is a longer destruction." He said, "He is alive and has come to perform Hajj." In Short, Maalik bin Dinar propitiated his father. No sooner did the father got pleased then agonies of death prevailed upon that young man. At last, his father pronounced his good pleasure; he was blessed with the Kalmia Tayyiba and he breathed his last. Maalik says that he heard a voice from the hidden saying, "Listen O people, Allah has forgiven all people present in Arafaat due to the blessings of one person named Abd-ur-Rahmaan bin Muhammad Al-Balkhi.

This tale was by the way in between. The actual point is that we must regard Belief as the biggest bounty and value it. We should offer thanks to Allah at it, remain away bigger sins rather try to avoid every sin particulary, we must make arrangements for prayers. The method of Judging belief in our hearts is to have a look at our prayers. If prayer is complete, good and with yearning and punctuality, be sure, there is Belief in the heart. If the matter of prayer is vice versa, be sure, Belief has become poor. So, correct all the affairs of your prayers at once. The test of Belief will be through Jihaad in the way of Allah. True and pure Belief always attracts to Jihaad. Sacrificing and dying for the sake of Allah, prevailing the Deen of Allah and methods of His Prophet, nourishing enmity against the enemies of Allah and receiving injuries in the way of the Lord is true and sincere Belief. if you look at the entire Holy Quran, you will find this same sequence whether Belief is true and sincere or not. It is tested through Jihaad in the way Allah. Hence, it is obligatory to every Muslim in the lowest degree to love Jihaad in the way of Allah but the highest degree is to participate in Jihaad in the way of Allah. The wretched unfortunate person who has wrath and hatred against Jihaad in the way of Allah; nothing can be said about his Belief at which stage it is sighing and sobbing Lo, no doubt, listen again and, time and again for millions of times that the biggest bounty is Belief, faith in  and confessing it. If a scientist invents a machine through which all people of the world begin to get free food, free water, free medicine and free electricity but he is deprived of  he is not equal to the shoes of the person who is lying crippled in bed but is blessed with the faith and confession of  . O Muslims, offer thanks again and again and for billions of times and then offer thanks for the thanks that you have been blessed with so great Kalima.

In order to inculcate this Kalima in your hearts, strengthen your prayers. Then in order to prove yourselves true with this Kalima, create link with Jihaad in the way of Allah. May Allah grant us all with the power and capacity to act upon this syllabus!
